We are double dipping in Wilson this week! Today from 8 to 4 the Wilson Memorial Day Craft Fair at 641 Lake St and tomorrow at Brownies custard from 4pm to 8 pm.

Successful catch in Lockport today! It was a stubborn tree to shake, but luckily I was able to find the queen and have her safely stashed inside the box. Thanks to cameraperson Cait Kenney for taking the pics and her first swarm catch!

Spring? Let's just jump right into summer! The bees are already working hard like its June, and I'll be working hard too! My summer schedule is coming together and looking a bit funky on Sundays, but variety is always good. As always, I'll be at Medina Farmers Market on most Saturdays, and new this year I will be at Wilson Community Farmers Market on Tuesday evenings. Sundays will be split up between Pendleton Station Market, South Buffalo Farmers Market, and Wide Waters Grill Market in Lockport. Check out the schedule below and see when you can come out!

Also new this year, our honey can be found at North Tonawanda Market at the Singer Farm Naturals stand, and at their physical location in Appleton on Lake Rd.

Spring is around the corner! well, almost, but now is the time to start thinking about ordering nucs to start your apiary for next year, or fill in dead outs from over the winter. This years price is the same as last year, $180 with a $50 deposit for each. Nucs come with 5 frames, each with at least of 3 frames of brood in all stages, frame of honey and frame of mixed resources, and a new 2026 mated queen. Target date for pick up is between June 1st to June 15th, depending on weather.

November 22nd: Knights of Columbus, North Tonawanda, 11am-3pm

November 29th: Medina Parade of Lights, Medina, 9am-4pm
