The third and final wine entered in the NY Wine Classic also brought GOLD for Arrowhead: Our 2023 Reserve Meritage is the winner of Gold at 94 points. Aged for 2 years in French and American oak barrels with big flavors and soft tannins. Our Meritage Reserve is widely available in stores and restaurants. More NY Wine Classic awards For Arrowhead: Our 2023 Reserve Cabernet Franc is the winner of GOLD at 95 points. 2 years in French and American oak barrels and a bit “bigger” than our regular Cabernet Franc (which is no slouch at 93 points from James Suckling). The regular barrel aged Cabernet Franc is widely available in stores and restaurants, but the Reserve Cabernet Franc is a limited release wine available only at the winery. Fall is around the corner and the grapes are ripening. NY Wine Classic awards are in and Arrowhead did very well. Our 2023 Reserve Syrah was a silver medal winner. This delicious wine is loaded with dark fruit and spicy aromatics and is a limited release wine available only at the winery. We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are grateful to the readers of Buffalo Spree magazine for voting us the best local winery in 2026! We are appreciative of the community support. When we started this venture 21 years ago, we underestimated the amount of effort, joy and heartbreak this farm would bring. Farming isn’t easy, but it is the core of what we do – great wine starts in the vineyards. We are happy that our efforts over the past 21 years have not gone unnoticed and this encourages us to continue to evolve and improve. We will continue to work hard to provide a wonderful experience for you, and we encourage you to visit and hope you will be inspired to become a regular here at the winery. Our case club offers great value with club events and limited release wines.

We grow traditional wine grapes on the limestone soils of the Niagara Escarpment, just a short drive from anywhere in WNY (and no passport is required!) Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Chardonnay are among our more popular selections, and we also offer craft beer and NA options like soda, tea and coffee. Consider dining with us – we have freshly prepared food any time we are open, and on Friday/Saturday evenings we offer a full service dining experience in our “Nook” of the east wing beginning at 5 PM.

The first winemaker's dinner featuring Chef James from our Arrowhead Nook was one of the best meals we have ever had. The food was creative and delicious. Each course was a unique creation and paired very well with the wines.

The weather is going to be perfect again this weekend for a visit to Arrowhead Spring Vineyards. In addition to our large selection of wines we grow here, we have a variety of craft beer and soda/NA beer. We have freshly prepared food any time we are open and sit down dinner service on Friday and Saturday evenings begins at 5PM.

The air outside may be hazy from wildfire smoke but inside our hospitality space it is filtered and conditioned. The gardens are in bloom outside- and some plants are blooming inside. Enjoy delicious wine and food any time we are open! We have sit down dinner service on Friday and Saturday evenings at our Nook dining space starting at 5PM, where you can enjoy a meal from a menu created by our own chef, James, to pair with our wines.

We have had a couple of heavy rains that washed the driveway stone down hill. After a repair delay, Our John Deere 40 crawler is back on the job, pushing the stone back up the hill and flattening the surface. This beauty was made in 1953 and purchased by Arrowhead for construction of the new building in 2016. Now completely restored, we use it for leveling the driveway, pushing brush and pulling fallen ash trees (it has amazing traction). At 73 years old, this tractor is still running great!
