Friday June 12th at the winery - Come in for some music and food! We will be serving pulled pork, mac and cheese and cucumber salad starting at 6 PM, while it lasts. The music starts at 7 PM!

One of the best aspects of farming is seeing nature up close. Today, we were out mowing a field and a coyote was attempting to lure the tractor away from its den. Seeing the coyote trotting around, then relaxing in the sun (even yawning) was a pretty cool sight. In past years, this field has been loaded with rabbits, and the hawks followed the tractor to catch them. No rabbits or hawks this year but the coyote looked well fed.

Friday and Saturday we are open from 12-9 PM with more great food options!

We are so excited about “Nook” at Arrowhead Spring Vineyards! While we will still have delicious food daily in the main tasting room, Nook (Friday and Saturday from 5-9PM) offers a broader and more upscale menu. Relax and enjoy our bistro-style dining in the Nook of the East Wing, on Friday and Saturday evenings with table service and an expanded menu that includes pasta, salads and desserts. With freshly prepared foods, great ambiance and curated current vintage and library wine to enjoy in our Niagara Escarpment vineyard setting, an evening at Nook will be relaxing and memorable.

It will be "Warm Enough” this holiday weekend and we are looking forward to your visit! Spring is a busy time in the vineyard and here are some pictures of the recent activity. The vines have pushed out what will become fruit and they are developing nicely.

Big news starting next weekend and continuing for the rest of the summer: On Friday and Saturday evenings we will have extended hours and an expanded menu with sit down table service in the east wing. Details coming in the next few days.

Warm weather is finally here and we have a new Rose' being released today to celebrate - Syrah Rose!!!!! The Syrah was harvested earlier to retain acidity and it brings wonderful fruit. We added some Viognier, which enhances the aromas, bringing in those tropical notes. The Patio is OPEN and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Rose!!! Pair it with a salad, sandwich, charcuterie or our famous Pizza.

We are proud of our sustainability efforts and herbicide free vineyards. Vineyard manager Jonathan Oakes cleared the under vine area and planted clover this week in a few rows to experiment with reduced undervine cultivation. Clover is an effective cover crop that improves soil health, fixes nitrogen, suppresses weeds and prevents erosion. We have used it in our row centers and are hoping this can reduce the amount of undervine cultivation we perform each season.

You can purchase our wines from our certified sustainable vineyards in our tasting room and online, including our Cabernet Franc (93 points) and the RESERVE Cabernet Franc! In addition to our usual selection of wines and NY craft beer, we have Rose', Chardonnay, Viognier and THREE different Syrah wines.

Bud break has happened and the growing season has officially begun! Signs of spring are everywhere, including a number of bird's nests in and around the vineyard and it's great to see mother nature moving into spring. Speaking of Mothers.... Mother's day weekend is just ahead and we would be honored to be part of your celebration! With a full food menu and a great wine, beer and locally made soda selection combined with a spectacular view, it is a perfect place to enjoy spring relaxation.

The second and hopefully final blast of winter after the first and second false springs. It’s 30 degrees and the snow is super pretty, more so knowing it will be gone by Wednesday and won’t return until November. The vineyard has been mowed once already during the second false spring. Vine tying should be complete this week and it looks like bud break may happen next week. Weather on the Niagara Escarpment is always interesting.
