DMDA x TQC feels like a full circle moment for our family ✨

When the opportunity came up to support the senior class at , the answer was an immediate yes.

What many may not know is that Dyan Mulvey holds title of mother to our very own Chef C**t. For years, she has poured into dancers and families throughout our community, creating a space built on passion, discipline, connection, and heart. That same sense of community is a huge part of why exists the way it does today. Supporting local families and small businesses is quite literally in our bones.

Before we were The Quesadilla Company, this building was home to Ted’s — a spot so many people in this community grew up loving. So this month, we wanted to pay a little homage to the flavors, memories, and local food culture that helped shape this space long before us.

Mark Your Calendars, Friends! We are SO excited for this one + being apart of this line up truly has us in our feels. ✨🧀

ITS HERE! 42 restaurants and food trucks along with four wineries will participate in the 43rd annual Taste of Buffalo presented by . The Taste, a celebration of Buffalo’s food scene, will be held July 11 and 12 along Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo.

This year’s restaurants include a mix of classic American and ethnic cuisines that represent the diverse food culture for which Western New York is known. Of the 42 restaurants, 13 will be participating in the event for the first time.

“The culinary scene is one of the best things about Buffalo and all of Western New York and this year’s selection of diverse and delicious foods is what makes the Taste of Buffalo one of the premiere food festivals in the nation,” said 2026 Taste of Buffalo Chairperson Adam Roma. “Our guests can enjoy the incredible food from more than 40 restaurants, including some old friends coming back to the event. We also have an amazing new entertainment lineup and other great activities we are excited to share in the coming weeks. We also look forward to supporting FeedMore and our scholarship fund and other local charities with proceeds from the event.”

What's up CREW!!!!!!

I didn't think we needed another plant at the restaurant but there's always been this dream of mine to hang some more artwork. Today, I made that dream a reality.

Amongst the rain, I took a trip out to Williamsville today to visit at his gallery on Main Street for the first time. I've admired his work from afar being a fellow creative, young, entrepreneur like myself. His style speaks to me in an really chaotic but symmetrical delivery. His color blending and stacking is something you have to see in real life. The intersection of art and food is constant. So I thought why not bring it closer to Lockport.

Buttt instead of bringing it home and it being there only for me and mine to enjoy, why not hang it at the restaurant?

Zach was eager as all get up and him, his friends/coworkers Abbey and Nate came to the restaurant when the gallery closed at 4. The colors of his Fire Problems #3 were PERFECT for The Quesadilla Company. I couldn't leave without it.

It really was a moment that reminded me how much more I want 6230 Shimer Drive to be a place that people go eat. It was a building that HELD, HOLDS and now can nurture MORE of those memories.

I once had a customer tear up looking over the glass where we now make Quesadillas. You know I asked him "What's up?". He began to elaborate about how the spot on the floor he was standing reminded him of times with his family when he was a kid, holding his grandparents hands. Eating Teds Hotdogs.

It's a really powerful thought that I'm giving people the same opportunity in the same building. I'll be damned if we're not PROUD of it every day.

We take that responsibility so seriously and are grateful to give you guys a chance to have a meal in a comfortable space with some plants and art on the walls.
