1. Brown rice, diced onions, sage = Breakfast Rice
2. Chopped Kale Salad - dressed with Apple Vinaigrette the night before for lunch tomorrow
3. Sauted Chopped Kale Salad over Brown Rice for Dinner
4. Warm Kale Salad with nuts - lunch the next day
5. Kale soup - Anytime

Add - nuts, mashed bananas, berries
Breakfast Brown Rice

Black bean or Edamame (plant protein) Spaghetti w/ Marinara Sauce

Warm Kale salad w/carrots and onions

Making this vegetable stock will make the Daniel Fast easier!!!!

VEGETABLE STOCK
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 2 medium onions, unpeeled, cut into 4 pieces
• 10 celery stalks, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 2 large carrots, peeled, cut into 1-inch pieces
• 1 whole head of garlic, top cut off
• 2 sprigs of rosemary or 2 tsp ground rosemary
• 1 salt and pepper to taste (tt)

RECIPE PREPARATION
• Heat oil in a large stockpot over medium-high heat. Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables begin to soften, 5-7 minutes. Add 4 quarts cold water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until stock is reduced by half, 1-1 1/2 hours.
Uses: Cooking vegetables, rice, making soups.
