Pigs on pasture and pigs moving to rejuvenate new paddocks. On the advice of our good friend and fellow farmer Paul Boulden Jr from studley farms we are over seeding the empty paddock with root veggies and clover. Today we broadcast turnips and tomorrow we will throw some clover seed down. All this in an effort to lower feed cost, husband quality livestock and make the land better than when we found it! We had leg quarters for supper and I apologize we have no pictures. Before I could even think of the photo the food was GONE! taste was amazing. Pretty sure we are on to something good. If you have pictures of your farms fare that you've prepared please share!! God bless and thanks again ! Rob

What a beautiful morning for a farmers market! Come on down and see the best in Virginia farms, fare, food, and crafts.
Father's day is this weekend so treat dad to a good old fashioned cookout with local hot dogs from raders quarter farm! If not grilling how about breakfast? Nothing says love better than the gift of BACON!!!
And for the outdoors loving dad we have snack sticks in!! They are great for the fishing, hiking , camping, and bonfire snacks!
So come on down and say hello and happy Father's day to all the dads out there!!!
