You know I couldn’t see something called the White Trash Burger on the menu at Pinky’s Westside Grill and NOT order it 😂

5oz beef burger loaded with provolone, fried pickles, onion straws, and spicy ranch. This thing was an absolute mess in the best possible way. 🍔 🔥

📍 1877 Pub & Grub | Conover, NC

This time I stayed close to home and stopped by 1877 Pub & Grub in downtown Conover to try one of their signature sandwiches — THE STEAK BOMB. 💣🥩

Thinly shaved seasoned steak, provolone cheese, sautéed mushrooms & onions, and garlic aioli piled onto a hoagie roll and pressed until golden. (1877 Pub & Grub⁠)

But does the Steak Bomb live up to its name? 👀

🍔 NICK’S OLD FASHION HAMBURGER HOUSE 🍔

No gimmicks. No fancy bu****it. Just an old-school hamburger joint doing burgers the way they’re supposed to be done. 🔥

Nick’s has that classic hometown feel—the kind of place people swear by and keep coming back to year after year.

But the real question… does the burger live up to the local legend? 👀🍔

Ain’t that the truth. Sub out the cheerwine for a cherry lemon sundrop for me please

Somebody built a North Carolina Lunchable and honestly, they understood the assignment. 🍖🥤

A pulled pork BBQ sandwich takes the top spot, piled high with smoky pork and slaw. That’s not a snack—that’s a full Carolina commitment.

Boiled peanuts get their own compartment, because no true North Carolina lunch would be complete without them. 🥜

Then there’s a warm biscuit and a cold Cheerwine sitting side by side like they were designed for each other. And the collard greens finish things off with a little Southern comfort.

It’s basically North Carolina in a lunch tray. ❤️🌲
