We've got all the fall things, and we're just 20 miles north of Madison-- come visit us! OUTDOOR FUN AT A BEAUTIFUL WISCONSIN FARM

Open September 3 - November 6, 2022
See https://treinenfarm.com/ for more info. With acres of fresh country air, the Treinen Farm is a great place to enjoy in the fall. Try our 15 acre award-winning corn maze, ½ acre children's maze, adventure slides, tractor tire pl

ayground, natural play areas, hay forts, and hiking and wilderness exploration area. Bring a picnic, meet the goats, and see our draft horses. There's a lot of outdoors to enjoy for little ones as well as older kids and adults. Season passes are available--we love to see frequent visitors! Amazing Mazes: The Tree Swing/Biophilia Corn Maze is 15 acres (that's almost 15 football fields of diabolically twisty trails in 10 foot high corn!) Try it in the dark if you're brave enough... And don't miss the Children's Maze and the ultra-challenging Maze-Within-the-Maze. So Many Pumpkins: We have eighteen acres of pumpkins, and we plant over 50 varieties so there are all colors, shapes, and sizes to choose from. Pumpkins are priced from $2-$15 and are not included in admission price. Wagon Rides -- due to horse and driver retirements, we are no longer able to offer wagon rides

Reserve a bonfire area or the pavilion for your group. Note -- there is very spotty cell service at the farm (or in the surrounding area), and no wifi available. Download maps or anything you need prior to your visit. See https://treinenfarm.com/ for more info.

Everybody at the farm has a job, and in the summer for the horses it’s mowing crew up on the hill!
As our herd of horses gets older, they do not pull as many wagons, but they still help out around the farm and “earn their keep” 😉

From far away, it seems to be a hummingbird? Or maybe a bee? But what if I told you it’s actually a moth!
Captured in slow motion to better see the way this hummingbird clearwing uses its proboscis to eat nectar!

The corn and pumpkins might like the rain, but if you ask Hector? Today is a good day to just stay inside…

Summer views from the top of our hill never fail to impress!

Every year, Mama Snapping Turtle makes her way into the pasture to lay her eggs, burying them underground where they wait to hatch.
Snapping turtles are one of the main reasons we don’t recommend swimming in the pond. The other main reason is all the leeches!

Treinen Farm has changed through the years, but one thing remains constant—our mission to help make memories outside and enjoy the land we love so very much.

Throwback Thursday to when Chandler was just an itty-bitty baby goat!

Unfortunately the view from the hill does not give too much of a clue as to the design of the maze…

Update from the dog team and their continued investigation of Molehill Mountain: the woodchuck seems to be still living under the slide. Also, Tula seems to have learned the meaning of the word “woodchuck” and can potentially be rented out for woodchuck finding services. She only finds them though. That’s it.
