Happy June Dairy Month!
Here are a couple of our favorite celebrations:
1. June 5th, Cows on the Concourse downtown Madison on MLK blvd. Check out the farmer's market while you are there.
2. June 20th, Moo-Day Brunch at Rob and Jenny Baerwolf's in Columbus.
3. Enjoy some WI dairy products. You eating dairy=demand for what the girls do!

Merging and chopping our 1st cutting of alfalfa!
After we mow the alfalfa, we let it lay for a bit until it reaches the moisture we want to harvest it at. Then the merger comes through to make a big windrow that the chopper chops into a wagon to haul into the bunker to pack and store!

Happy Earth Day!
As a dairy farm, we value the land that we work with and are always learning new ways to better take care of the environment. The land feeds our cows, and the cows feed our land. Check out some of the simple practices that go a long way for us in the photos!

That wind did some work last night! All people and cows were safe.

One of the best parts of farming is the community. When our neighbors are in need, we help them like they have helped us.

Here's a load of corn stalks we had extra of headed to Nebraska ranchers affected by fires.

Enjoy the throwback photos to 2001 when our barn roof collapsed and we had around 75 people come help clean up and get the cows back to normal as soon as possible.
