Great article on David in this morning's Lodi News-Sentinel

David Akin did not set out to be a winemaker, although he had grown up around wine. His goals were geared toward medical research and finding a cure for cancer. But the solitude of the lab and the minimal interaction with people were too confining for him, so returned to the wine business in 1969.

Come sample some great cheeses and equally great wines as our winemaker David Akin and cheese monger Molly from Cheese Central host a wine and cheese pairing at Woodbridge Uncorked tasting room this Saturday the 20th. The event takes place from 7pm-9pm and is $15 per person. Live music will also be played by Big Bob B***y and The Backside Kickers. We hope to see you all there!

We couldn't be prouder of our Tannat!!!

Lodi is so far out ahead in many aspects of winegrowing, most folks aren’t even aware of it. Most wine “experts” don’t know either — otherwise, you’d be reading about it in more places.
