Second cutting hay. I ran out of daylight. My husband said I had to be done, but I didn’t want to be. I could still see, for the most part! Lol! I only had a few more swaths to do. He gave in at the end and turned the lights on for me! Haha!

Almost done…last row for today! We’re almost done with our haying season. We have it all cut, now if we can just get it raked and baled before the rain comes! I think we can make it happen. 🤞☀️

The Herd was happy to be moved into fresh pasture!! Kevin the Bull is content. The calves were lagging behind, but caught up! 😊

Mr, Bully Boy is here. We went to Lakota Ranch in Virginia to pick him up. His number is K241. We’re not sure if he has a name, but we’ve decided to call him Kevin anyway. He will be our herd bull for this season. We’ll let him settle in for a day or two and then introduce him to the herd. We have about 30 cows that he’ll keep company with. He’ll be happy here!!

Moving the girls to a new pasture. The kids are bringing up the rear!

Calf Hutch got moved this morning! We used a small round bale to pick it up with the skid steer. It worked really well. Most of the cows and calves are now on pasture. We have 23 calves. Only 2 more cows left to calve, then it’s on to hay-making season!

Razzle Dazzle had a baby boy! She needed a little assistant, but she and baby are doing fine. We’ll give her and the baby a little time and then we’ll get them both up so baby can nurse. He got a little bit of fluid in his lungs, but he’s already doing much better. It’s a good day! 😊
