Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars Visit us for a tasting or a glass. Tastings are by reservations only and can be made by calling.

For three generations, our family has been growing grapes on the fertile soils along the east side of Seneca Lake. We have 119 acres of planted vineyards separated into more than 20 different vineyard blocks, planted predominantly on Honeoye Silt Loam and Lansing Gravely Loam soils. These holdings are managed using only sustainable winegrowing practices, to yield the finest lots of expressive and

dynamic cool-climate varietals. Our wines, including those in our sparkling program, are all produced and bottled in house using our estate-grown fruit, ensuring maximum control of grape quality and wine integrity. We take pride in every bottle of wine produced in our cellar and are proud to share a bottle with fellow wine lovers.

Veraison is underway.

We first noticed signs of color in the Pinot Noir on August 6. Since then, the change has continued across the vineyards, with Cabernet Franc now beginning to show the first shades of pink, red, and purple.

This is the progression we look for each year as the vineyard moves toward ripening. The berries will continue to soften and accumulate sugar in the weeks ahead, with each variety following in its own time.

The grapes are right on track - harvest is getting closer!

The land has always been at the heart of Lamoreaux — not just the vineyards, but the fields, forests, wetlands, plants and wildlife that surround them.

They are part of what has shaped this place, and part of what we hope to carry forward.
