HEY FOLKS!
We've got some great weather today! We have big update for you guys: The Heads N Tails team is working on an important project this week: putting plastic on the greenhouses! Stay tuned--soon we'll be putting our first Tilapia into the fish tanks.
Our operations have started and rolling on full swing.

- With this, we also would like to invite ALL those who follow us, have a firm interest in Aquaponics, or who believe in great, local health and nutrition to come to the farm this week! This is an open invitation to come on over and volunteer, or simply see our progress at the green houses.
Also new: make sure to purchase your 'CSA Share' by messaging us on our Facebook or on our website (headsntailsnaturalproduce.com), or by giving us a call at (608) 220-1214. We would love to help with any questions you might have.

The details of CSA Shares are as follows:

Share Options
**Our shares are based on a 12 month contract EXCEPT our Winter & Trial Share**


Standard Share:
$124.00 per month
12 month (52 weeks) share with weekly pickups.
Approximately a grocery bag quantity of produce, able to support a house hold that eats and cooks with fresh vegetables.


Large Family Share:
$170.00 per month
12 month (52 weeks) share with weekly pickups. Approximately one and a half the quantity of a standard share. For a family that consumes and cooks a lot of vegetables. Also, great for sharing with another family.


Bi Weekly Share:
$81.00 per month
12 month (25 weeks) with every – other – week pickups.
Approximately the same quantity as the standard share. The vegetables will keep for a couple of weeks. Great for a single person or on – the – go families that may have less time to cook.


Winter Share:
$186.00 per month (November – April)
6 month (25 weeks) with weekly pickups. Approximately the same quantity as the standard share. Great for families that have a summer garden but still want fresh local produce in the dead of winter.


Trial Share:
$186.00 per month
1 month (4 – 5 weeks) with weekly pickups. Same quantity as the standard share. For the families that want to trial our CSA and see if it fits their life style.


Volunteer Share:
(Need to work a minimum of two hours a week)
Same as Bi week share. This is a way to get back to the earth and help grow your own food. Please contact us for more details and availability.


Pay it Forward Share:
(Price depends on which share you choose)
A chance to pay it forward, buy donating a share for families in need. Help us spread the ripple effect of everyone being able to access the healthy food they deserve .

HEADS N TAILS, attended a day workshop at Nelson N Pade. It was a great day. Our team become a part of several routine based activities such as early morning routine check up of the plants, water tanks, Fish tanks, media and water beds, filters etc.

Later this day, our team fed fishes, involves in harvesting of variety of Lettuces.

Lastly, and most important activity of Friday was to make Fillets of Fresh Tilapia.

The entire day turned out to be a great day for the entire team of Heads N Tails and especially for the New Intern Muhammad Fawad Raza from Karachi,Pakistan.

We also would like to Thank NELSON N PADE and their team for their utmost support!

It's World Water Day! Did you know that aquapoincs systems use only 10% of the water used in traditional agriculture? With aquaponics, water is not lost to soil, and it can be recycled through the roots of our plants over and over again! We're happy to do our part to conserve water!
