Meet one of our working herd bulls! 🐂

We wanted to share a closer look at this guy and talk a little bit about the direction we’re taking with our genetics. He is actually a small part Mashona, and we are incredibly impressed with what that brings to our pastures. In the cattle business, efficiency is everything, and he defines "low input, high output."

Mashona influence gives him incredible heat tolerance and natural insect resistance. He stays slick and comfortable while others are stressing. He is structurally sound, low to the ground, and has a phenomenal work ethic out in the pasture. We are excited to see his upcoming calf crop and watch how these efficient genetics translate into hard working replacement heifers and heavy weaning steers.
