We have so many fawns running around the property right now!

They love hiding out in the tall grass. So far, we’ve only spotted one doe with twins. Spring is definitely in full swing around here! 🌱❤️

🚨 Cow care can get real, real fast.

After a rough calving resulting in a prolapse, Sunrise Veterinary Services, Reedsburg, WI was on the scene in record time. We spared you the "ugly" details in the photo, but we had to share a massive thank you to our amazing vets for their lightning fast response! 🙏🐄

Multiflora rose starts as a few nice white flowers and quickly turns into a massive, thorny wall that takes over pastures and chokes out native plants. If you’ve ever tried to walk through a patch of it, you know exactly how brutal those thorns are.

Who else is currently at war with this stuff?

Any other photographers out there agree? 📸

While a solid herd of black cattle looks powerful, throwing a few red hides into the mix completely changes the game for a photo. The contrast and that sudden pop of color against the green grass just make the whole picture come alive. Sometimes, you just need a little red to make the black stand out. ❤️🖤

We just finished unloading and wrapping a new batch of round bales! While we love the idea of making hay off our own land, buying it in saves us massive amounts of time, equipment maintenance costs, and takes away the stress of watching the weather forecast.

118 bales later and we didn't have to spend a single hour cutting, tedding, or baling it ourselves.

That is a massive win in my book!
