Delicata squash is one of our favorites because that thin, tender skin is completely edible—no peeling! Roast it, stuff it, or slice it into rings and let those edges get golden and caramelized. 😋

Fajitas, stuffed peppers, sausage & peppers, omelets, sheet-pan dinners, stir-fry… or just slice ’em up and throw them in just about anything. 😋

Happy Monday y’all!! More homegrown “LOCAL LOCAL” OKRA in this morning🤩…AND a load of beautiful GREEN TOMATOES too! 🙌🏻💚

Fry those green tomatoes up crispy, chop them into a fresh salsa or relish, stew that okra with tomatoes and onions, pickle it, fry it…

ORRRR…how about FRIED OKRA & GREEN TOMATO FRITTERS?? 😋👍🏻💯😎😘

Chop up:
💚 2 green tomatoes
💚 1½ cups fresh okra
💚 ½ small Vidalia onion

Mix with:
🥚 1 egg
🥛 ¼ cup buttermilk
🌽 ½ cup cornmeal
🥄 ½ cup flour
🧂 Salt & pepper
🌶️ A little Cajun seasoning if you like a kick!

Mix it all together, drop by spoonfuls into hot oil, flatten them just a little and fry until crispy and golden on both sides.

Green tomatoes + fresh local okra + Vidalia onion all fried up together??
