🎄 Christmas has arrived at The Homestead. 🎄
The first Christmas transformation at Tavaputs Farm is complete, and I couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you.
The Homestead has traded its fall colors for evergreens, warm lanterns, deep reds, old-fashioned Christmas details and a cozy place to settle in together. ❤️
This is just the first of our Christmas photography locations coming to life this week—and there is so much more still happening behind the scenes.

What a week. 🤍
I made the decision to step away from business and social media for a handful of days and simply be present with my family as we celebrated the union of our son and his new bride.
I also had the privilege of creating the wedding florals, which needed the rest of my attention and made the week even more special. There were flowers everywhere, lots of work, lots of memories, and one very beautiful wedding. 💐
We pulled in late last night, tired and happy—and today it’s officially back to business at Tavaputs Farm!
And there is A LOT about to happen. 🎄✨
Fall is coming down and the Christmas transformation is beginning. Trees, lights, furniture, greenery and a whole lot of ideas that have been living in my head are finally about to become real.
Christmas sets are officially in the works.
I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been planning. ❤️

I've already had a few photographers reaching out asking about Christmas sets, so here's your first tiny peek… one of the trees is already waiting. ❤️
Yes—Christmas photography locations are coming!
I'll be starting the builds soon, and I'll share little peeks along the way as everything begins to come together.
I want each Christmas setting to feel like Tavaputs—thoughtfully created, dimensional, and a little different from what you'll find everywhere else.
Photographer reservations for our Christmas locations will open as soon as the sets are ready, and I'll announce it here first.

As the flower season begins to wind down, I just want to say thank you. ❤️
I’m not sure how many more armloads like this the field will give me before the season comes to an end, but what a beautiful season it has been.
Every bouquet purchased, every kind word, every share, every person who stopped to see what was blooming, and every one of you who has continued to support this little farm means more than you probably realize.
There are a lot of early mornings, dirty hands, hot days and long hours behind these flowers—but getting to send something I grew here at the farm home with you makes all of it worthwhile.
The farm is growing and changing, and there are some exciting new things ahead, but flowers will always be part of what we do here. 🌻
Thank you for supporting Tavaputs Farm and another season of locally grown flowers.

Professional photographers can now reserve private outdoor photography access at Tavaputs Farm in Loma.
Your one-hour reservation gives one photography business private access to the designated outdoor photography locations available during your reserved time. Move between available seasonal sets, farm locations and natural settings without another photography business shooting alongside you.

A little peek at what's ahead… 📷
Now that the secret is out that the farm will soon be opening our outdoor photography locations to professional photographers, I thought I'd start sharing some of the pieces waiting behind the scenes.
These beauties are part of the growing collection of furniture we'll be using as locations and seasonal sets change throughout the year. ❤️
Fall may be here now, but Christmas planning has already started—and I have a whole lot more ideas waiting to be built.
Some things you'll see coming. Some I'll keep a surprise. 😉

Tavaputs Farm will soon be opening designated outdoor photography locations for private hourly reservations by professional photographers.
Tag your favorite photographer (s) in the comments and let them know we are getting closer!!
Over the years, we've grown, built and created so many little corners of this farm—and soon we're going to share some of them with fellow photographers.

Your reserved time will give you access to available outdoor locations throughout the farm—from seasonal photography sets to our flower farm, fields and some of the one-of-a-kind spaces we've created here.
And one thing was especially important to me:
One photographer at a time.
When you reserve your time, you won't be sharing the property with another photography business. You'll have the freedom to move among the available locations and photograph your clients without another session happening alongside yours.

Meet The Old Building. 🍂
She’s been here a long time, weathered and imperfect—and this fall, she gets to tell a new story.
I’ve spent the last several months creating spaces around the farm that feel like they belong here, rather than simply setting up a backdrop. The old wood, the porch, the lanterns, deep fall color and all those little pieces collected over time came together exactly the way I hoped they would.
The Old Building is officially ready for her first fall photographs. 🤎
She’ll be one of the opening chapters in the 3LC’s Photography Signature Fall Collection, and I cannot wait to finally put a family in this scene.
