A little peek at Fall at Tavaputs Farm. 🍂
This is one of the indoor fall settings I've been creating for this year's photography sessions.
I wanted fall without feeling like a traditional fall backdrop — soft, layered, a little dramatic, and enough color and texture to feel like the season while still letting the people in the photograph be what matters most.
And this is only one of the settings.

Some of you may have wondered what I've been doing with this summer other than flowers…
Well, here it is. ❤️
Over the last several months, I've been quietly turning a working greenhouse into a photography studio—and bringing back a part of my life that I left behind a long time ago.
But I didn't want four walls and a backdrop.
I wanted a place where I could create photographs that felt like something. A real studio when I need one. Beautiful natural light. Sets that can completely change with the seasons. And right outside the doors, the gardens, flowers, fields, old buildings and all the character of Tavaputs Farm.
There is still more to finish and a whole lot more I'm excited to show you, but I think I've kept this under wraps long enough.
Tavaputs Farm is growing a new chapter.

We may be melting in the summer heat, but the flowers are absolutely thriving! 🌻🌸
The fields are filling with color every day, and our summer blooms are just beginning to hit their stride. It won't be long before the Flower Bar is open again, where you can build your own bouquet with fresh, locally grown flowers straight from the farm.
Stay tuned... the best of summer is just getting started. 💐☀️
