Pizza Twist Naperville .naperville

Best vegan pizza in the area! Love their Indian fusion flavors and so many plant based options. The cheesy bread is so creamy and garlicky. This time we got the tikka masala pizza and tandoori wings. Both were amazing. One of our fave spots for takeout.

Sebastian’s Ale & Whiskey House

A little gem in Lombard with an extensive vegan menu.

Great date night here as usual! My husband loves the buffalo chicken wrap & we always get the vegan loaded tots. A must. I tried something new this time. The impossible skewers and was very impressed. They were seasoned really well and served over a bed of really yummy veggies topped with a little balsamic. Drinks were also delish! 10/10 recommend!

Seitan Al Pastor tacos. Batch made seitan from the vegan stoner cookbook. Adobo sauce and grilled pineapple salsa recipes from sugar taco cookbook. Also made burritos and a burrito bowl with these recipes this week.

Shredded Tofu w/ Cabbage, Rice, and Chile-Coconut Sauce and Tofu “cottage cheese”

Tried out a couple new recipes from

Proportions were a little off for me personally. For the shredded tofu with cabbage it was mainly just the cabbage. I really only needed one small cabbage. Flavors were great though and was able to eat the leftovers for lunch and still held up!

The tofu cottage cheese was the flavor and too much silky tofu. I want to try again because the texture was spot on once I took out some of the extra silky tofu just might try using my feta cheese recipe for the flavoring and one block of extra firm and 2(instead of 3) silky tofu packs. Love the idea and was inspired to use the method again but was too watery and lemony.

Vegan Buona Beef!

Yum! I like to get dry with the giardinera on the side so it doesn’t get too soggy or oily but do what you gotta do! They even have vegan cheese. Not pictured fries of course!

Easter Brunch at went here with my husband’s family and we had a great time!

Wow I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place yet, a huge vegan menu and both meals we picked were delicious. Will def be back.

I got the Brazilian steak skillet with cubed potatoes, veggies, just egg, vegan steak and cheese and green chimichurri.

Josh got the chorizo grinder with fries. We both got their signature latte which comes with macadamia milk.

Bonus pic our vegan “Easter basket” put together by my mom in law. Lindt dairy free chocolate and rebel cheese! Yum! We were spoiled today!

“Nature’s Gatorade”

Jumped on this viral hydration drink that I keep seeing all over instagram. A handful of blueberries, a little coconut water , juice from a lemon, and big pinch of Celtic sea salt blended up then strained. Then topped with more coconut water, lots of ice filled the rest of the big mason jar with filtered water. Tastes amazing and helps when I’m feeling like I need some bonus hydration!

Alice and Friends Vegan Kitchen

Still making my way through the menu! These spring rolls were huge!!! I was expecting some small little apps but no! Lots of fresh veggies wrapped in rice paper. Really loved the peanut sauce that came with these.

2nd pic their cute mural& hanging tea cups. I always do takeout here but appreciate the decor!

Chow mein. This was also a huge portion and really good! If I get again I would prob add some tofu or vegan ham just to spice it up! But was a good noodle dish!

Carne Asada Tacos

So good! Made a basic seitan from the vegan stoner cookbook. Then used sugar taco cookbook marinade. Charred up really nicely on my grill pan! Corn tortillas, cilantro, & a yummy homemade red salsa.
