With the kids returning to school today, I want to thank Carlie, Gabe, Collin, and Margaret for their help at the farm. They were a big help this summer with our garlic and potato harvests, weeding the gardens, harvesting produce, flower production, and cleaning around the farm. It will be different without them around daily for the first time in three months. They were great helpers during their time at the farm. They are one of the reasons we decided to start this farm business. We wanted to show them that working hard, setting life goals, and family are very important in their daily lives. I hope their upcoming school year is full of learning and fun for them.

Thank you for the birthday wishes.

The only way I can describe my craving to work in the soil is how amazing it is to see the life of a tiny seed. This is not my knowledge but my Heavenly Father’s. The only reason I am doing what I am doing is by His grace and all the undeserved blessings along these amazing 77 years. Can we see God—reflect on some of your life experiences—just coincidence, karma—He is holding my hand—and yours.

We are going to this birthday post a day early since we will have a busy day tomorrow with deliveries.

We would like to wish our mom (Doris) a Happy Birthday on 8/26. She is the backbone of our farm business. Doris is a big reason why our business has grown to its current state in the past 12 years. She has always been our biggest supporter during this business venture. It is her dedication to the gardens which help grow our quality produce for our customers. We are very thankful for her knowledge and hard work in our business. Please wish her a happy birthday if you see her during the upcoming week.
