TLDR: Thank you all for being a part of something fun.
Well COLD Coastians, it’s been a fu***ng ride. When I first started working here, I had no idea of the impact it would make on my life and the community I would become a part of. Being born and raised in Lompoc, I tried to give every person a feel of being a local when you came in for a beer. Knowing your favorite beers, having them ready for you before you got to the bar, or forcefully having you widen your pallet with whatever I thought you would enjoy next. I loved recommending regulars and visitors to all my favorite Lompoc spots to ensure your joy exceeded beyond the brewery. You were more than customers to me and I hope I made you feel that way. While us closing is a heart break, I choose to only look back at all the good memories I have interacting with you all. There are plenty. From all the sick ass events we did, to the military ceremonies I got to be a part of, the karaoke and trivia nights, the weddings, celebrations of life, and so much more. I thank you all.
Eric, Jason, Mike, and Dave, thank you for taking a chance hiring me and trusting me to help create something beautiful for Lompoc. Even though most of you are from Cabrillo, you guys were amazing bosses. Getting to serve you and your families was always a joy for me. Eric your positivity and relaxed attitude never made me feel unwelcome or in the wrong. Jason, your structure kept me from slacking too much and I always knew you had my back when I needed it. Mike, getting to talk s**t with you was a lot of fun and thanks for pushing me down the Harley path. Dave, SEMPER FI DEVIL DOG OORAH!
Shannon (yeahhhh Shannon woooooo), Mari (you little s**t), Kelli (KELLI!!!), Sarah, Dillon, Collin, Issac, Jazzlynn, Jayna and the rest of the family, you were all so fun and will leave great memories with me.
To all of my employees, who truthfully were just my friends, thanks for fighting in the trenches with me everyday. I could rely on you guys to get s**t done and of course we had a lot of fun along the way.
Once again, thank you all for being a part of Lompoc, COLD Coast, and my journey on this Earth. I’ll see you next time 🤙
