From helping pioneer the Sta. Rita Hills AVA to farming two of the region's landmark vineyards, Sanford & Benedict and La Riconada, our story has always been rooted in this unique place.

This special region is shaped by an east-west mountain range that allows cool Pacific breezes and morning fog to flow inland. The result is a long, gentle growing season that gives Pinot Noir and Chardonnay time to develop remarkable balance, freshness, and complexity.
