2021 Estate Grenache - Caden's Block, a tribute to Chad's son, has been a true test of patience. Years of devoted effort have gone into crafting this cold-climate, organically farmed grenache. After first sharing it with our Monopole members, we're thrilled and proud to unveil this release to our wine community. ⁠

Quantities are limited for this sumptuous new Melville-style Grenache, so don't hesitate to secure your bottles.⁠

Although uncommon to find pinot noir grown in sand due to the soil’s lack of nutrients and water holding capacity, our organic farming approach nurtures this atypical environment to reveal sand’s incredible influence on wine—pretty, lifted and delicate aromas, bright acid and dense fruit. ⁠

It’s a result we enjoy and so do the critics! The past three vintages scored 96, 95, and 97 points respectively, and the 2022 Sandy’s received 94 points from Wine & Spirits (with additional scores pending).⁠
