Our Temperance Cellars pouring team had a roaring 🦁 good time yesterday at the Santa Barbara Zoo’s annual Roar and Pour wine event. Next month we’ll be hanging with the dinosaurs 🦖 at the annual Wine🍷 and Food festival at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.

Saunter & Sip your way through the historic El Presidio Orchard in downtown Santa Barbara. Newly released rosés and delicious sparkling wines just add to the Spring tasting fun when over 25 Sta. Rita Hills wineries will showcase their current and new release wines.

Have you ever wondered what the best way to drink a wine is? All kidding aside, letting a red wine breath will reduce any harshness and bring out a more velvety texture by softening down the tannins. Generally a red wine should be opened an hour before drinking, however, just opening a bottle of wine doesn't always guarantee it's breathability. it’s much more useful to decant it into another vessel, this will ensure it separates the sediment from the liquid. Hope you enjoy your next glass of wine! 🍷 .
