Restaurant owners please be aware of this.

Just this month alone we lost $1,010 from Uber Eats orders where people picked up their food and then reported that our restaurant was closed.

They get their money back, keep the food, and we take the loss.

$1,010 might not be a lot to a big company, but for a small business like us, that’s inventory, payroll, bills and a lot of hard work.

We work hard for every single order that leaves our kitchen and it’s crazy that people figured out a way to take advantage of the system like this.

I’m posting this because I know we can’t be the only restaurant dealing with it. Restaurant owners, check your reports and pay attention to your refunds.

And to the people doing this, just know you’re not taking money from some big corporation. You’re taking it from a small business and the families working behind it.

Sharing this for awareness because $1,010 in one month is already too much
