Another wonderful Dinner in the Dahlias 🍽️💐

These dinners are our favorite events to put on, and we appreciate each and every one of our guests who comes out to support us. Being able to highlight local growers and producers while enjoying a meal in the dahlias makes for a special evening ☺️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this evening so memorable — from our amazing guests to our wonderful team and everyone who made the night possible. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🥂✨

If you haven’t made it out to the farm yet this season, there’s still time! 🌱

The dahlias are doing their thing right now, and the fields are really hitting their stride.

We still have tickets available for two more chances to come hang out in the dahlias:

Come see the flowers, wander the fields, eat some pizza, stretch a little… basically, just come enjoy the farm. 🌸

A beautiful day in the sunshine, surrounded by flowers and good company at our Petal Picnic! 🌸☀️ Augie was the sweetest little addition to the festivities, making the day even more special. 🐾💐

LDD is adding a new event this season - Bloom Yoga 🧘‍♀️

Join us Saturday September 12th at 10:00 for yoga in the dahlias, followed by pastries and iced lattes from Coffee Apothecary ☕️

Grab a spot and bring your yoga bestie along - and remember, flowers don’t judge your balance in tree pose ☺️

Sorry, friends! We won’t be at market this weekend, but we figured a cute picture of Chumley might make up for it. 🥹🐾
We’ll be back at the Freight House Farmers Market next Saturday, 8/22, with alllll the dahlias!

Come get the first dahlias of the season - today at the Freight House Farmers’s Market! 10:00 - 2:00

We switched to the Sunday market this week because of rain, but will be at Saturday markets the rest of the season.

A little sneak peak into what we’ll have available at this time next year!

It’s recommended that you wait three years before harvesting peonies heavily (and even take the buds off so they can focus on root growth 🙀) but I can’t resist cutting a few shorties for myself in year two.

I’m also trialing some stock- which smells lovely - and ranunculus, both to pair with peonies 😍
