Another sneak peek of what’s to come… 👀 🍷

Our new home is really starting to take shape, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors! As we put the finishing touches on the space, Kuper will be closed June 29–July 13 while we make the move.

The wait will be worth it—we’ve got an exciting lineup of events including our Judgement of Paris 50th Anniversary celebration on 7/14, tastings, live music, and gatherings planned for July, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.

Thank you for your patience and support as we make the transition. We’ll see you soon in our new space at 704 Main St., Unit 4! 🥂

In 1976, a blind tasting in Paris shocked the wine world when California wines triumphed over the finest French bottles. Now, five decades later, we’re reliving that legendary moment right here at the Kuper.

As our very first event in our stunning new space, this exclusive evening is a special preview before we officially open our doors to the public the following day.

Join us as you blind taste 8 carefully curated Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons representing both France and California — just like the original judges, you decide the winners. Will California reign supreme again, or will France reclaim its crown?

Chef Abbigail has crafted an elevated menu of seasonal bites thoughtfully designed to complement both the richness of Chardonnay and the boldness of Cabernet Sauvignon throughout the evening.

Join us for Guided Play Mahjong one week from today, Sunday, June 14th from 12-2pm!

Ready to play, but still a little stuck on the card? 🀄 You’ve taken a beginner class or know the basics, but sitting down to play a real game can still feel a bit daunting. Don’t worry, we’ve got you! Our Guided Play Mahjong sessions are the perfect bridge between “learning” and “playing.”

Skip the pressure of a fast-paced game and enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll play full hands with open cards (or closed, if you’re feeling brave!), with an instructor nearby to help you interpret the card, navigate the Charleston, and strategize your next move. Come build your confidence, sharpen your skills, and meet some awesome fellow players!

Let us set the table with everything you need to play a round or two, including tiles and cards. Feel free to bring your own NMJL card if you have one.

Please indicate how many are in your group. No need for a full table of 4, single players welcome! We will seat you together, however, if you have a crew.

Prerequisite: Must know the basic rules of the game / Mahjong card.
