Sunflower Farm has Public Hours, Live Music, Birthday Parties, Preschool, School-Age Programs, Summer Camps and a working veggie and flower farm offering a 24 week CSA, wholesale veggies and flowers, a farm store and flower workshops.

SUNFLOWER FARM and Sunflower Farm Acres (Veggie production farm) is an educational demonstration farm, located in Southwest Longmont. What started out as an experiment—customizing a working farm around the interests of children and families has settled into a place to explore, dream, grow, learn, and connect with others. In serving the community the past decade we have confirmed: nature, animals,

imaginative play, music and wonder play a huge role in nurturing our souls.
Sunflower Farm offers licensed nature based summer camps, preschool, public Farmfest hours on the weekend, weekly music performances, a working veggie and flower production farm with a 24 week CSA, pasture lamb shares, Farm Store and workshops. We also sell at the Longmont and Ned Farmer's Markets and offer wholesale veggies and flowers.

Come explore the farm and start your summer off right at Farmfest! This Sunday we’re open 9am-1pm, and you can reserve your tickets online under “visit us”!

There is so much in the farm that is blooming and growing, and lots of young goats and lambs to meet. We can’t wait to see you!

We are so excited to continue providing a Lamb CSA for January 2027! We already have our lambs out on pasture, being moved twice a week. They are loving their new home. Our lambs are raised using regenerative pasture rotation which promotes the health and sustainability of our pastures (and some pretty happy lambs).

This year we will be offering two options:
- a whole share which includes 45-60lbs of lamb cuts roasts, and ground
- a half share which will include 20-25 lbs of lamb cuts, roasts and ground

We only have a select amount of shares per year, so make sure to reserve your share today on our website, as spots are filling up!

Now is the best time to buy your share, since prices will be going up in June!

🪕Join us this Wednesday for our Farmfest Music opener, with Golden Thread Band, from Lyon’s Colorado! Gates open at 4:30, music starts at 5:30! Grab your kids, lawn chairs and get ready to watch the sun set while you listen to some local tunes!

🎸Golden Thread is a Lyon’s based folk & bluegrass band, featuring of Elephant Revival, , & bringing together a super talented 4 piece band that is building their presence across Colorado!

What an amazing whirlwind of a year! Thank you families for sharing your amazing kids with us, we couldn’t have asked for a better year.

This week all of the classes performed songs for their families and loved ones, and enjoyed picnics with their classmates. We couldn’t have asked for a better end of the year!

For some kiddos, this is the first last day of school! For some, it is their last year with us at Sunflower. We will miss all of our amazing students and look forward to a fun filled summer on the farm. Next school year feels so far away right now, but we know it will come in no time.

Come have fun in the sun this Memorial Day weekend on the farm! We are open both days this weekend, and there is no better way to start the summer off than hanging out with some animals on the farm. Reserve tickets on our website today! Say hi to our baby lambs, goats, and two new llamas (waffles and hashbrown). There’s so much to explore!
