The Mariposa Farm Orchard Dedication was more than just an event—it was a night stitched together with love, laughter, and deep gratitude.

Surrounded by family, friends, and the loyal supporters of Suárez Market, we celebrated not only the orchard itself but the people whose hands and hearts made it possible. Every tree carries the memory of sweat, hard work, and dedication poured into the soil by those who planted, nurtured, and stood by us through countless Barn Market days.

This night also held a deeply personal meaning for me. We dedicated our orchard varietal blocks to my six heroes—the ones who have given me the gift of life itself. Their courage and generosity have allowed me to keep living my story, to dream boldly, and to turn those dreams into this orchard that will grow and bless generations to come.

For my husband, Jacek Tadus, and me, the day was a moment of honoring the past, cherishing the present, and planting hope for the future—together under the Colorado sky.

Mariposa has given us so much in these past two and a half years. We heard horror stories about the soils here in Boulder County, but we have seen a lot of promise and we aim to keep these soils healthy - as we have so much more to produce in the coming years. Especially our cider and dessert apples.

But today..... Es un Feria de los Flores here at Mariposa Farm. Our cut-flower patch is stretching to keep up with our cider-orchard trellis. We have Mariposa Posies available at the Market for the rest of the season. We are open until 4:00 pm today. Join us and take a walk through the orchard and flower fields. 🌸🏵🌼
