Kate Painter, Eve Colton, Nancy Colton, and Megan Douthit Downy all put together great rides in both reining and ranch riding classes finishing with several top placings!

An Evening of Dancing Horses at the 2026 NWSS was one unlike any other! Sharee and Shevin teamed up with Gabe Garrison and Angie Piccone to perform a Reining Quadrille to the Greatest Showman! Decked out with Circus outfits, their fun filled routine was complete with dancers and even Kevin Ball made an appearance as the fearless handler of their “Elephant” and Grady Garrison as the Tiny General! From start to finish, this routine was entertaining and full of surprises!

Sharee also paired up with Jill Barron to perform a Dressage/Reining duet to “Let It Be” as a tribute to both girls’ Breyer horses Game Day Surprise and Cossaco! So fun to team up with Jill again and celebrate two great horses!

January Recap! Better late than never!

We started 2026 off with a Bang at the Denver Stock Show!

Sharee and Shevin both competed in the Performance Horse Challenge! Sharee and Witchcraft teamed up to compete for Team Purple with Kyle Trahern and Jet McCoy- to defend their championship from last year and win the Team Competition! Sharee also finished 2nd in the Reining individual competition. Shevin showed Pale Moonlight (owned by Peter Flint) to compete for Team White with Chase Trahern and Aaron Ralston- finishing 3rd in the Team competition and 3rd in the Reining Individual!

In the NWSS Invitational Freestyle, Sharee and Live Love Laugh (owned by Patrice Lee) performed to Cody Johnson’s Traveling Soldier to take home the Championship! Special thank you to Phil and Bonnie Boyes for coming to assist with the performance!!

Steve and Game Day Surprise teamed up for their final time competing in the NWSS freestyle; performing to When The Cowboy Rides Away. They finished 5th overall and took home The Peoples Choice Award! A perfect ending to two legendary freestyle careers!
