Sunday morning sunrise over the onion patch.

We loved the cooler weather and moisture the past couple weeks, a great recharge for all the plants and our team too.

This week the sunshine and heat return and the fields are going to be thriving just as we officially get our CSA season started. First pickups are this week! We are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Farmstand is also filling up with fresh produce, hanging baskets, plant starts and local goodies. We will be open regular hours on Memorial Day ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŒบ

Happy World Biodiversity Day! ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ

International Day for Biological Diversity was launched by the United Nations in 1992 with the goal of protecting ecosystems, species, and the living systems humanity depends on. More than 30 years later, biodiversity loss continues worldwide as industrial agriculture, habitat destruction, pollution, pesticides, and extractive land use continue expanding faster than restoration efforts.

At Ollin Farms, we believe biodiversity protection has to happen on the ground โ€” not just in policy discussions, conferences, or a once-a-year recognition. Over the past 19 years we have worked to build habitat for pollinators, birds, wildlife, and soil microbes through our diversified regenerative farming systems that help reconnect food production with healthy living ecosystems.

Real biodiversity starts with healthy soil, healthy water, healthy pollinators, and farms connected to their communities.
