Greetings from the Miraflora Ranch, home of some of the best Wagyu in the country. We’re Colorado natives, and we raise our cattle just outside Boulder on our family land. With the Flatirons as our backdrop and Rocky Mountain snowmelt running through our pastures, we’re obsessed with raising our cattle right and taking care of the land that feeds them.
Our 160 acres are modest compared to industrial operations, but that’s exactly what makes us so special: Every single acre matters. We practice rotational grazing, which means our cattle move around the property like nature intended. This isn't just better for the cattle (though they clearly approve), it's better for the soil, the crops, and, ultimately, you. Because happy cows really do make better beef.
Our Wagyu cattle aren't the only residents here. They share the ranch with alpacas (the ranch comedians), chickens (our pest control team), goats and sheep (the landscapers), honey bees (the pollinators), and fields of hay and flowers. It’s basically a working postcard, and our cattle are living their best life in the middle of it all.
