Haven Hills Finn Aédán is now standing for the 2026 breeding season, and we couldn’t be more proud to offer this young stallion to a limited number of outside mares.

Aédán is a 2022 registered Connemara stallion, 14.2 hh buckskin — grandson of the legendary Grange Finn Sparrow through his sire Finns Irish Creame, and out of New Song’s Raining Blessings (by Hayselden Perseus).

He is HWSD N/N and a proven sire, with a stunning 2025 foal on the ground already.

What sets him apart isn’t just his pedigree — it’s who he is on a daily basis.

He lives quietly among mares, is regularly ridden in shared arenas, and is as easy to handle on the ground as he is under saddle.

That temperament? He’s already passing it on.

The hard part about only have one foal this year is that Hawk has reached (mild) menace stage. Add in him injuring himself and poor Sugar is pretty much done 🤪

Cue adding the older broodmares (Bea and Muffin) to step in as babysitters and manner tutors.

Little one has to learn horse manners before he gets weaned and meets Uncle Johnny and Gunner 🤣

Calling all bay mare lovers!

Even if you’re not a “mare” person, Midnight Silence is worth a look!

Midnight silence is not a princess (despite her gorgeous looks) and is our resident tomboy. She fits her barn name “Mitchy” more than her regal name and looks let on!

Shes down to earth, sensible and very quick thinking. Mitchy likes to be engaged and taught new things. If you’re not careful, she’ll learn anything you teach her, almost faster than you can teach her!

Mitchy (raced under the name Midnight Silence) is a 6 yr old OTTB mare who came to us at Body N Soul from the Center for Racehorse Retraining for a restart and to find her forever people.

Mitchy had 16 starts on the track; her last race was in 2024.
Since her last race she’s had at least a year of let down time on 1,000 acres up in WY.

Mitchy has been in professional training since May and has been slowly restarted.
She lunges, and walk/trot/canters under saddle for a variety of skill levels from advanced intermediate to professional rides.

She has three lovely, smooth gaits (one could say she’s like riding a cloud) and has picked up the beginnings of contact.
Shes been started over small fences and will continue to progress over them the longer she stays with us.

She loves her working student riders, is a treat hound and loves scratches. She’s been exposed to chickens, goats (literally been under her feet) cows, a busy lesson and therapy program and has taken just about everything we’ve thrown at her in stride. Shes a bit uncertain about tiny humans running at her shrieking, but to be fair aren’t we all?

Shes sensible enough for a gutsy young rider or adult amateur to bring along with professional guidance. And fancy enough for those who want to be competitive.

Mitchy is another one of those that I’d love to keep in barn for myself but lack of time and finances means we have to help The Center move her along!

Shes an easy keeper who lives out 24/7, on pasture and is currently barefoot.

Priced mid 4’s with her price tag to continue to increase the more she goes and does with us.
