Flying Jewel Brewing is the realization of a long-held aspiration that took root in 2008 when we first set foot in the original Saint Arnold's Brewery. The experience left an indelible impression, igniting our passion for crafting exceptional beer. Following graduation, Rob delved into the retail side of the industry, working for both Coors and Budweiser Distributorships. This invaluable experienc

e allowed him to understand the intricacies of the beer market and discern what works and what doesn't, all the while honing his brewing skills through homebrewing. At Flying Jewel Brewing, our core mission is twofold: to produce outstanding quality beer and to create a gathering place that welcomes people from all walks of life. We envision our brewery as more than just a production facility; it's a destination that offers an immersive experience. Guests will not only savor our finely crafted brews but also enjoy the scenic charm and welcoming atmosphere of North Longview/Spring Hill. Our location is in a rapidly growing area, offering a unique opportunity to serve an underserved community. With the ongoing development and economic growth in the region, the brewery will be a hub for connection and relaxation. The surrounding area provides plenty of space for outdoor activities, family-friendly gatherings, and community events, making it an ideal destination for locals and visitors alike. Things are getting cool at Flying Jewel Brewing ❄️🍻

Today we’re locking in the cold room — the heart of the taproom and home base for all your future favorite beers. This is where the kegs will live, the tap lines will run, and the pours will be perfectly chilled.

And see that tiled wall in the photo? 👀 That was the original plan…
But we’ve since decided to wrap it with a custom mural that will become the main visual feature of the taproom — full of color, story, and Flying Jewel personality.

And just for you… here’s a sneak peek of the taproom!
This is the first time we’re showing this space off — and we’re getting closer every day.

🛒✨ Equipment hunt update!

Today we’re scoping out tanks, lines, gaskets, and all the shiny stainless that’ll power Flying Jewel Brewing—and we’re doing it with a little Texas-sized teamwork. Huge thanks to the Texas brewery community for sharing leads, surplus fittings, and “try-before-you-buy” advice. Y’all make building a brewery feel a lot less daunting.

Turns out we’re just like capybaras: super chill, a little social, and always down for a good time (especially with a beer in paw).
