When we started Lazy Acres, it really wasn’t just about raising cattle.

It was about building something our family could be proud of.

We wanted to raise quality beef without added hormones and know exactly how our cattle were cared for every single day. We wanted our kids to grow up understanding that good things don’t come easy—that feeding in the heat, breaking ice in the winter, fixing fences, and caring for animals every day builds character, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.

We wanted them to appreciate where their food comes from and to respect the animals that provide for our family and yours.

We’ve also found something we didn’t expect. Raising cattle has slowed us down. It’s given us more evenings together in the pasture, more conversations, more memories, and more appreciation for the life God has blessed us with.

Every package of beef we sell represents months of early mornings, late evenings, and doing our best to care for these animals the right way. We aren’t trying to be the biggest. We just want to provide beef we’re proud to put on our own table and yours.
