A year ago, I trucked in enough woodchips to thickly cover 2 acres of pasture that was cursed with never-ending star thistle. This summer, instead of 2 acres of thistle, I had just one 30-gallon bag of the wretched w**d of satan.

You don't need poison, you need nature and patience.

Photo 1 and 2 are the same alpaca-- always crazy how much fiber they grow in 1 year.

If you are need of raw fiber for your nesting boxes, garden beds or pet projects, please reach out. We sell it raw for $8 a gallon. Buy in bulk and get a discount.

Apple Cidar has so many awesome benefits, including wart murderer.

My boy is always barefoot, so it's no surprise he developed a wart. For a few weeks before bedtime, we soaked cotton in ACV and secured the soaked pad with a bandaid over the wart, and would remove it in the AM. The ACV literally ate the wart away!

Slide 2 is before, Slide 3 is midway, and Slide 4 is this evening.

Natural, no side effects and affordable. Hope this helps someone else who has warts and doesn't want the pain of freezing or the use of chemicals. 🩷

{NEW} Starting this weekend, our alpaca skeins can be found at Alpaca Shop in Newcastle, CA (by appointment only, please). We also have skeins available in our Etsy Shop--> link in Bio.

All our alpaca fiber is blended with organic materials such as silk, wool, or bamboo. Blended intentionally for durability to hold the clothing item's desired shape.

Wishing everyone a healthy 2025!

We've spent another year focusing on our health, and on the food God designed for us, not the invented replacement that man pushes. It amazes me how my mind, body and spirit have grown with simple food and lifting weights. It's brought such clarity and genuine happiness. I want that for everyone-- you deserve it. 🫶

Alpaca is a lifetime product, warmer than wool and soft as silk. Our farm doesn't produce finished products (yet) but we believe in supporting community. Excited about these Alpaca socks from . Some people are gonna have warm toes this winter!

Meet Carl. Our daughter caught him in a racoon trap 3 months ago. He was a feral kitten, living at a run-down house on our road. It's taken a lot of patience, but Carl is a nourished and playful boy now. Currently, Carl is an indoor kitty, but he may file a barn-cat application as he becomes more confident. Really neat watching a distrustful animal evolve into a loving and happy cat.

Those who know about the troubled house on our road will be happy to know it has switched hands, and like Carl, is being transformed. Good things are happening!

Star thistle has plagued our front pasture-- ya know, the pasture that gets watered around the clock. 😵‍💫 We've tried all the things recommended, and for 5 years (no chemicals-- I won't do anything synthetic around my kids or animals), the devil's w**d continues to flourish. One day, I thought wood chips might be our solution. A long road, but guess what? After about 16 loads of chips, the thistle isn't blossoming in those areas!

The chips help the ground retain water and thistle does not like moisture (and I mean a lot of mositure). Eventually, the chips will break down and nurioush the devoid soil. Between manure, sun & water, these chips will produce a beautiful field for our livestock to graze.

You can farm organically; just sprinkle a little time and patience - completely worth it to me.

"I will never work off a poor diet; my body will still have to process the chemical ingredients." This has been my mind shift the last year and a half. For me, removing grains more often, and focusing on real protein, has helped lean me out and grow those muscles that have endless benefits. Did you know the more muscle mass you have, the lower your overall disease & cancer rate? Disease prevention is my daily mindset, and everything else is the bonus.

Above is an egg + cottage cheese wrap. I'm sure you've seen the 'viral' (that word has been wayyyy over used 😆) recipe on social media. This was better than expected.

Heat oven to 350°
- 2 pastured eggs
- 1 cup whole milk cottage cheese (I never touch anything reduced fat)
- pinch of garlic powder
- pinch of onion powder
- sprinkle of mineral salt (always real, never chemical salt)

Blend until smooth. Pour onto olive oil lined parchment paper and sprinkle with herbs (today I used oregano + parsley)
Bake for 25 mins. Cool and gently peel.
