Big news veggie lovers!!!

As many of you already know, Farmer Emma has a baby due this spring. With that in mind and in an effort to protect our physical and mental health we have decided to hand Goosefoot Produce over to our friends Lexi and Lace for the 2026 season.

Lexi and Lace are already accomplished farmers having completed the Agroecology program and UC Santa Cruz and working on and managing farms in both California and here on Lopez. Lexi finished the season with us at Goosefoot last year and it was *so* much fun.

We are very grateful that they are here and are willing to keep the veggies coming for the 2026 season. This will likely be our (Emma and Sam’s) last post on this platform for the year and for the rest of 2026 you will be seeing and hearing about Goosefoot from Lexi and Lace.

We hope you will support them the same as you have us. We know they are going to grow some really incredibly stuff. They are planning to continue on with our farmstand, CSA, and restaurant sales and you might even catch them at the farmers market.

That’s a wrap for the 2025 CSA season!!! We are so tired but so filled with gratitude for all the folks who committed week after week to letting us choose what veggies would grace their tables. Percentage wise the CSA is not our largest revenue stream, but we often refer to it as our bread and butter as it gets us cash when we most desperately need it in the early spring.

We love you CSA members! See you next year 😘
