My buddy yesterday while baling. He let me drive within 10 ft of his perch without flying off then flew to the tree in the field as I was approaching the tree.

This was the end of my hay season. Decided I wasn’t changing the sheer bolt to finish this. Landowner wanted about 70 bedding bales and was at 92 already.

Overall it was a good year. Looking forward to working on the new ground now.

The strip of hay I have been looking for all hay season. This is likely the last little piece I cut this year.

Cleaning up this 5 acre piece of ground after baling the majority Sunday. Windrows were too big for the baler the 1st round.

At 8.1 mph the accumulator cannot drop the bales fast enough to stay tight.

Windrows were just too big for the baler pickup. Will have to rake this field again to clean it up.

A little dusty and the broomsedge seed was flying. Had to rage bait a bit with the loader still up after turning the corner at the fence line.

Made 436 bales in this field after baling 150 bales in two small fields for neighbors. It was a slow dusty day. Only broke one sheer bolt and had to stop once to blow out that filter and hose down the radiator.
Didn’t beat the dark though. There’s about 200 more to bale tomorrow.

This field wasn’t cut all year until now. Broomsedge seed and ant hills made a mess. The north wind was brutal when driving south.

Should bale this tomorrow. Would be good for goats even cows, but will keep the same price as the “trash” bales. $4/ba...
