WHY I'm going...
Bye bye Civilian life! it's been real. I finally got the call I've been waiting for MONTHS, but I'm happy to announce that I've been accepted to return to service in the United States Army .
After struggling with this decision for months I have made the decision that it would be a better place for me, my wife, and my career goals.
I didn't really wanna make it known to anyone until I was sure. I felt it was better this way! I will be heading out on July 25th again for a refresher Basic training at Fort Benning/ Moore to start my new life and new beginning. This job markets TOUGH!! And I miss all the running push upping and rifle shooting and getting dirty and not having to shower for 2 weeks or 30 days or more and ALL THE TRAVEL to exotic places and the SHOPPING....and the camaraderie...
I would've tried to text everyone individually, but I thought it would be easier to post on here. Especially because this isn't real and you other Vets should post it as your status and see how many people actually read stuff till the end...

Tried my hand at giving bees piggy back rides at Loretto Motherhouse Farm today. I think I was finally successful at getting them in the box. They were pretty grumpy because they got rained on.

Hamblen Farms still has Honey! Haha the number in background is not ours, Our number for Honey sales is 719-232-8929 and yes like everyone else cost of some things at rising 18oz is $20, 16oz is $18 and this year we have 32oz bottles for $34. We have a specialty glass honey jar with stir stick 12 oz for $15 WE ARE A KENTUCKY PROUD and VETERAN OWNED FARM

Caught swarm number 5 for the year today. All have been landing on a 3 year old Apple tree that is right in front of my apiary. Best of all I had my 17 year old daughter out helping me look for the queen so we could put her in a clip. The queen went in the box on the first scoop of bees so we didn’t see her this time. Going to have to buy more boxes if this keeps up!
