As this September 11th comes to a close, we remember the 2,977 lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who never got to say goodbye, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

We remember where we were.
We remember the fear.
We remember the silence.
And we promised we would Never Forget.

But tonight, we also remember September 12th.

For a brief moment, we weren’t divided by politics, opinions, backgrounds, or beliefs. We were simply Americans.

Flags flew from porches. Strangers helped strangers. Neighbors checked on neighbors. We hugged our families a little tighter. We thanked our firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and military members. We stood together because we understood that what united us was far greater than what divided us.

As a veteran-owned and operated farm, that spirit means a great deal to us.

So as we close out this day of remembrance, maybe honoring September 11th means more than remembering who we lost.

Maybe it also means remembering who we became on September 12th.

And perhaps that America isn’t gone. Maybe it’s still here, in every neighbor who lends a hand, every stranger who chooses kindness, every community that comes together, and every American who remembers that we have far more in common than we sometimes realize.

May we never forget September 11th.
May we never forget the unity of September 12th.
And may we choose, every day, to be those Americans again.

We were united once. We can be united again. 🇺🇸

🐴🥃🔥 Meet Fireball & Wh***ey!! The newest members of the Michael’s Minis family! 🔥🥃🐴

Things just got a little more interesting around the farm! We’re excited to introduce Fireball, our 2-year-old mini mule, and Wh***ey, our 4-year-old mini donkey!

🔥 Fireball definitely lives up to the name. This little spitfire is rambunctious, full of energy, and apparently believes that rules are more like suggestions. 😂 We have a feeling Fireball is going to keep us on our toes!

🥃 Wh***ey, on the other hand, is just like his name suggests, smooth and easy going. He’s the laid-back gentleman of the pair and seems perfectly content to let Fireball handle all the craziness.

We’re excited to have these two join the family and can’t wait for everyone to follow along with their adventures!

Welcome home, Fireball & Wh***ey! ❤️🐴

Huge THANK YOU to those who were able to come out and help assemble the livestock sheds today!! There was a lot of blood, sweat, and probably a few tears shed throughout the day. Thank you for helping make our dreams come true, along with some happy piggies
