Martian Ranch & Vineyard is an eclectic grower of grape varietals both esoteric and otherwise. We are a young, biodynamically-farmed vineyard on Alisos Canyon Road in Los Alamos where we take our farming much more seriously than we take ourselves. Varietals Grown:
Albarino, Viognier, Gamay Noir, Grenache Noir, Graciano, Mourvedre, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Tempranillo

Fun Facts:
The name Martian

Ranch comes from Nan's two sons, Martin and Ian and their combined alien nickname. Vineyard owner, Nan Helgeland, is the earthly force behind Martian Ranch & Vineyard. Originally from Cape Cod, Nan found her inspiration in the world-class wines of Santa Barbara County. She purchased the 102-acre property in 2006, and planted the vineyard in 2008.
