Hello friends and happy last week of Veganuary 2021! 🌱⠀

If you don't know what Veganuary is, here's a brief explanation from their website: "Since 2014, Veganuary has inspired and supported more than one million people in 192 countries to try vegan for January – and beyond. We have worked with businesses to drive up vegan food options in shops and restaurants, and have made veganism more visible and accessible through our work with national and international media."⠀

Couteau is already a vegan business but we recognize that there's always room for improvement, which is why we took the pledge this year to continue expanding our understanding of what it means to live a more plant-based life.⠀

We also felt it was important to reach out to our community here in LA, now more than ever, and help bring healthy vegan food to those in need, which is why we have decided to donate 10% from every box sold this month to ⠀

Here is their mission statement from their website: "Support + Feed provides plant based meals prepared by local restaurants and businesses to people experiencing food insecurity in BIPOC and other communities, with several goals: nourish those in need, provide education, support the small business community, and positively impact the climate crisis."⠀
