Being Fairtrade supports a world where farmers like Natividad, a Fairtrade coffee farmer from Peru, thrive. Natividad’s and hundreds of other women farmers created a special program called Café Femenino in order to strengthen the voices and economic power of women in coffee production. With funds from Premiums and the support of hundreds of local farmers, women producers like Natividad have used their power to invest in community projects, such as children’s libraries, schools, health and nutritional education, and programs that build self-esteem, human rights awareness, and literacy ☕️❤️
