Vartsikhe Marani’s Oskhanure Sapere is one of our very favorite wines we carry. It is super small production, so finding this wine is rather rare. It’s full of tart red berry, vegetal notes, earth & smooth. You can drink this now or add to your collection for later. Regardless of what you decide, it’s a very special Georgian wine. Perfect for this holiday season!

The holidays are here! No matter what you’re celebrating, or how you’re celebrating, we have a wine for the occasion! Like this elegant, gorgeous wine from Christian Tschida, ‘Himmel Auf Erden II Maischevergoren’. A blend of Weissburgunder & Scheurebe with very fresh flavors of peach & apricot, with a hint of sage & stone. Love love love this wine! A completely natural orange wine from Burgenland, Austria, this wine is silky on the palate & beautifully composed. It truly is heaven on Earth, as the name implies. 🤪

It is so vibrant & aromatic! We love this with this season’s fare. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Break out the beautiful Pelicas by Constantina Soltelo, an Albariño from a tiny micro winery in Galaxia, Spain, made completely naturally with 50 year old vines from a single plot. It sees about 3 weeks skin contact and then left in amphora for about a year. It’s so elegant & textured, with flavors of lemon citrus & melon. It’s also grown so close to the ocean so it definitely has that saline quality to the finish. We only have a few left in stock! It’s not just for Halloween- this wine rocks all year round!

•BULLES Sparkling Rosè from Gaspard is so aromatic, so crisp, so fruity! A blend of mostly Pineau d’Aunis & a bit Grolleau, this wine is such a crowd pleaser.
•EIN LITER WEIN by Jutta Ambrositsch is such a stellar white blend from an urban winery in Vienna, Austria. So versatile, so refreshing! Also, it’s a liter!
•FRIENDS by The Austin Winery is truly one of our favorite wines & they are currently SOLD OUT of this vintage- so what we have is all we can get! Aromatic, dancing acid, tropical fruits & a creaminess to it, like meringue on top of a lemon pie. 😋
•SANS ORDONNANCE is our favorite rosé right now & it’s made by Domaine du Temps from the Languedoc. A blend of cab & merlot, this has a silky mouthfeel with flavors of strawberries, red currant & lemon peel. Such an amazing food wine!
•NEW GLOU by Donkey & Goat is a red blend that is juicy, zingy, chuggable & everything you want in a chillable red. Won’t last long!
•80/20 SIN MAS by micro winery Constantina Sotelo, one of our favorite Spanish producers. She’s always making these super interesting & special wines. Only around 300 bottles were produced of this one. It’s fresh & vibrant. All biodynamically farmed. It’s so special!

In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, we celebrate & the beautiful natural wines that they make. We highlight these wines often because they are absolutely stunning, but this winery is also giving back to their communities. Winemakers Tara Gomez & Mireia Taribo share a beautiful love story just as romantic as the wines themselves. Mireia hailing from Spain & Tara, a member of the Chumash tribe here in CA, they met & bonded over their love of wine &, luckily for us, they started this elegant project together. We are blessed to have these wines in our shop to offer you so that all of you, too, can experience the beauty & care of these exceptional wines.

•LAMBRUSCO made by Denny Bini is what we like to call “every day” wine, something we can have every day with pizza or pasta. Tons of black fruit, hints of to***co, rhubarb & herbs.
•TUTTI FRUTTI DE STEPHANE, a white blend from Les Vins Pirouettes that is full of lemon, green apple & white flowers. So fresh!
•FRIENDS, The Austin Winery, a skin-contact Malvasia that is soooo aromatic & full of tropical fruits like guava & pineapple. It also has a bit of a creaminess, like meringue!
•ZAN BLEND made by Keltis from a bunch of indigenous varieties from Slovenia, including both red & white grapes. So juicy & light with red berry fruit, like raspberry. Finishes dry & has a nice acidity. We like ours chilled.

WEEKLY FAVES!! Such a fun lineup this week with a fun mix of wines!
•CITY POP by favorite Joe Swick is fun blend of red & white varietals with a crisp, citrusy & refreshing quality. Tart grapefruit flavors & orange zest combined with great texture from spending 14 days on the skins.
•ROOTS by Kobal is a Furmint from Slovenia with a beautiful nose of honeysuckle, white flowers, Asian pear, jasmine & white peach. Tons of freshness here!
•BOJO TEZ is an orange from Portugal, made with 50% Avesso & 50% Aval, resulting in a light, lively, fun wine. Flavors of stone fruits & lemon zest with a hint of a vegetal quality. Super versatile, we pair this with everything!
•PUFFERFISH red blend made by Guthrie Family Wines is such a cool blend of CA varieties. Sun, Carignan, Petite Sirah, & Chenin Blanc. Juicy boysenberries, wild raspberries, orange zest & a hint of herbs. So delicious!

•RAINBOW JUICE Field Blend by Gentle Folk is super fun organic blend of red & white varieties from Australia with flavors of red plum, pomegranate, grapefruit & raspberry. Zippy with a slightly spicy finish.
•80/20 SIN MAS by Constantina Sotelo from Spain, which is all biodynamically farmed with fresh, vibrant acidity. So aromatic & smooth with flavors of blueberry & hibiscus. Such a cool wine! Only about 300 bottles were made from this micro-winery.
•FLORA from Michael Gindl is a delightful white blend from Austria, from Riesling, Grover Muskateller & Scheurebe. All biodynamic here & very fresh, aromatic & crisp. We love every Gindl does! This one is- you guessed it- very floral with a vibrant acidity, citrus-driven & so elegant! Take it on a picnic or for an elegant meal. It will not disappoint!
•ZNESTRA from producer Crocizia is 100% Malvasia, hailing from Emilia, Italy. This frizzante gem is full of white flowers & vegetal notes. Certified organic too!!
