Your next cookout needs Dynasty Hoisin Sauce on the menu. π₯π’
Hoisin sauce is a thick, savory Chinese condiment made from fermented soybeans, garlic, and spices. It brings a rich, slightly sweet umami depth to marinades, glazes, and dipping sauces, and it works on just about everything you'd throw on a grill.
These Hoisin Chicken Skewers are a great place to start. Marinated in a bold mix of Dynasty Hoisin Sauce and Dynasty Sriracha Chili Sauce, grilled until charred, then finished with a glaze and a sprinkle of J-Basket Roasted White Sesame Seeds. 30 minutes from prep to plate.
Ingredients:
π’ Β½ cup Dynasty Hoisin Sauce
π’ 2 Tbsp. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
π’ 1 Tbsp. Nishiki Rice Vinegar
π’ 2 Tbsp. Shaoxing wine
π’ 2 garlic cloves, minced
π’ 3 Tbsp. avocado oil
π’ 2 Tbsp. Dynasty Sriracha Chili Sauce
π’ 1Β½ lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into cubes
π’ Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
π’ J-Basket Roasted White Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
π’ Cooked Nishiki White Rice (for serving)
Directions:
1. Combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, wine, garlic, avocado oil, and sriracha in a large bowl. Set aside β
cup for glazing.
2. Add chicken, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
3. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
4. Grill over medium-high heat for 12 to 15 minutes, rotating every few minutes and glazing with reserved hoisin mixture throughout.
5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with Nishiki White Rice and any leftover glaze on the side.
