I had the honor of feeding family and friends while we celebrated the wonderful life of Trinidad Gonzalez! My dear friend Monica had to say good-bye to her precious mother but she turned it into a warm and happy place just like Trini! We honored her with all of her favorite foods in a spread that nourished the family as they told stories and musings of their matriarch. She was my neighbor and I would take her food and she joked “thank God you’re a chef!” We will miss you!

We slowed things down at the Baxter House and created an intentional and connected ladies dinner for Good Ear Music Supervision GEMS Ladies night was full of colorful flowers and a whimsical table scape ready to inspire conversations and connections. Every detail from what color utensils are set to what’s on the menu come together to create a perfectly memorable evening. We love working with BAXTER HOUSE MUSIC and can’t for the next one! Thank you to Bailey for creating our beautiful florals for the evening!

The birthday girl really wanted some of the interactive elements from The Dirty Dozen to be incorporated into her Pretty in Pink 40th! So we got the whole party involved in decorating her cake! A Guava Raspberry cake with passionfruit buttercream kept with the tropical theme of the menu. On the outside we created a brick wall for everyone to “tag”. We gave them flavored paints and edible markers to have fun with! How do you think they did?

Sometimes I put my event planner hat on and go beyond food and beverages. For this event we had to tackle the logistics of seating 50 people between these large columns and around this unique multi level patio. Utilizing serpentine tables to wind through the space we created an intimate and connected dinner party where guests gathered around to celebrate Stuart and Silvija birthdays. These beautiful cornflower blue fluted plates were a modern statement of the overall Provençal design. The food was amazing too but that’s for another post! is an all in house solution for your next event!

I had the absolute honor of creating this tablescape for the beautiful and the visionary for Sollas 30th birthday bash They came to me because they had seen some of the deconstructed artistic bites I had done in the past and I said 100%! I am in! The thing with making creative visual aspects is making sure you’re also serving delicious crowd favorites that are going to leave everyone happy! We chose bites that we knew would fit that bill and with a little creative direction could also double as art! Thank you again for including me on this project and thank you for the amazing photos!
