Good Afternoon thaught I’d share my latest DIY project in my sons bedroom using IKEA Bergsbo doors, after struggling to find a carpenter I decided to give it a go with a mate (none of us are carpenters) and it’s turned out great, I’ve added pics but essentially built a frame to match the dimensions of the carcasses from ikea website and used the alcoves them selves as the internals we matched the paint using the code NCS S 3005-Y20R this was at our local Johnstones paint shop, and decided to paint the panelling the same colour other side of the room this was an exact match, the shelves are cut mdf boards sat on 2x1 screwed to the alcoves the chrome rails where from eBay which I cut to size, just waiting on my skirting to be delivered as I am matching the original skirting, doors just need a slight adjustment to get them perfect then it’s pretty much finished any questions il be happy to answer Edited added pic with skirting added to finish.
