My brother in law, Kyle has stage 4 metastatic melanoma and was diagnosed almost a year ago. He is in his 30's, a music producer and musician as well as a San Fransico activist living in that crazy world. He was a painter for most of his teen years and adult life as his day job, exposing himself to the terrible paint chemicals and harsh uv rays. Between his day job, his producing and his relentles
s activism he let a section of skin cancer on the back of his leg go untreated for too long and then even had the spot removed and was tested and came back negative only to be found over a year later to actually be cancerous and at stage 4 progression and had traveled to his lymph nodes. To make a long story short, Kyle now lives with us and has been involved in a couple of UCLA clinical trials and has seen a reduction in lymph node sizes and is still a hustling bustling young dude, but he didn't always feel like eating or making himself anything to eat and when he did it wasn't any good for him and or he couldn't stomach it. So Kyle hit social media and put a call out to his local SF and now LA community in hopes of finding a the good juicer after researching The Gerson Therapy online and hearing of its amazing healing abilities. Instantly something amazing happened, a friend not only found him a good juicer but they gave it to him for free and it's was better than good, it was the best. The juicer of course was The Norwalk that sits on my counter today. The juicer sat there until one day my wife and I said, "We are gonna have to make him juices, that's the only answer!" So we did and we kept doing it more and more and Kyle started feeling better and had more energy and my wife did and I did and my wife took some to her work at UCLA and I took some to my work on set and they sold and people wanted more and were excited by the quality and the way the juice made them feel.. And don't forget about my daughter, for which the company is named after, she couldn't get enough. So we decided that we would keep making the juices for Kyle, for Violet and for anyone that wanted to enjoy them and even more so needed the health benefits and had no time to eat, let alone eat healthy. I'm talking about people in the entertainment industry and in the medical field. It just seemed like a great idea. We named the company, Violet Clementine because just like our daughter, there is nothing better on the planet than these juices and that's why we put her little face on them. Also we have taken a picture of our daughter since her birth, everyday, just as often as you should have a Organic, cold-pressed, raw juice. Sorry for such a long email but we really believe in this juice and our mylks and for what the future in this company could bring. The quality of ingredient, the relationships we are cultivating with farmers at local farmers markets and the taste and pure goodness of this juice! I love this stuff and we can get you started as soon you are ready. We are a small, local, organic, unpasteurized, raw juice company, but our juice taste is huge and delicious and we love making it. It's a true labor of love. And it just makes us feels great!
