🪱 Hey wormrades! We're inspired to share that our co-worker owner Bay is participating in LEEAF*, a 2-yr business program for & by BIPOC Women through a partnership among Cal State LA, Community Health Councils, and the Small Business Development Center-CA LA Network.
As part of a cohort of 60 BIPOC Women business leaders, we're thrilled to support LEEAF's vision of creating an investment ecosystem for fostering a local network of economic leaders in L.A. For many small business leaders, the roadblock to success is inequitable access to key resources and we're delighted by the chance to learn and grow collectively.
Moving into our 8th year, LAWFC is strategizing multi-year plans for growing & sustaining our company: a 7-yr old worker-owned cooperative vermicompost business fueled on passion & conviction for workplace democracy. As a small and intimate operation driven by deep values, we're humbled by the support we've received throughout seven years of growing our business roots and identity in L.A.
We're excited to share our evolving journey, and we hope to rely on your support of our vision to run a business that treats people and planet right. Once our plans are polished, we’ll share updates on how you can tangibly support 🙌🏼🪱
