Meet The Maker Behind Stonyfield Organic

Gary Hirshberg tells the story behind Stonyfield, the organic yogurt brand he co-founded with Samuel Kaymen at his family farm in New Hampshire. Beginning as an organic farming school with a seven-cow herd, they built Stonyfield one cup at a time, forging a path at a time when organic agriculture was far from the norm.

Guided by their mission to champion a more sustainable approach to farming, Stonyfield remains committed to those founding values today, serving communities nationwide and carrying the organic legacy forward.
