We are looking for cooks, prep cooks and line cooks to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers looking to experience modern Indian food. As a Lead Cook, you should be:

• Making difference to customer’s experience - You make the difference in the guest experience with everything that you do.
Cooks are responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing and cooking menu items. The cooks are also responsible for the final plate preparation and presentation.
As a Line Cook you will:
• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry and vegetables
• Act as prep cook for few hours in the morning or whenever required
• Know and comply with Rangeen’s Cooking standard
• Handle, store and rotate all food properly
• Assist in proper plate presentation for all dishes
• Handle, store and rotate all food properly
• Understands how to open and close the kitchen and follows all kitchen station checklists
As a Prep Cook:
• Responsible for cutting, chopping, prepping and getting the items ready for line and lead cook
• Know and comply with Rangeen’s Cooking standard
• Handle, store and rotate all food properly
• Understands how to open and close the kitchen and follows all kitchen station checklists
• Assists with stocking and organizing daily and weekly deliveries, and setting up the restaurant kitchen stations
• Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment • May need to assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc.

Our Cooks need to:
• Possess the highest quality of food standards in food prep and cooking methods
• Stand and/or walk for an entire shift - From bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work with a sense of urgency, and are able to multi task throughout their shift
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members.

Line Cook: $16-18 per hour for part time

Pav Bhaji- Mumbai favorite, is a very famous street food from Mumbai. Replaced turkey with chicken. Butternut squash carrot soup, potato salad, side of roasted vegetables. Simple and sumptuous flavors.

Out of lunch/dinner ideas? Try this very amazing, easy and quick Rajasthani recipe - Dal Dokhli or Whole wheat flour homemade pasta in soupy moong dal. This traditional dish from Rajasthan just requires half an hour from scratch. This soupy dish is enjoyed with a dash of lemon and raw onions as a topping.
Quick recipe:
- Knead 1 cup of whole wheat flour with turmeric, carrom seeds, salt and red chilli powder.
- In a pressure cooker put one cup washed split moong daal and 5 cups water and while the dal is boiling, roll the dough on a flat surface and it diamond shapes with a pizza cutter.
- Add the dough/pasta in the boiling dal, some garan Masala and salt and pressure cook the dal and dough for 2 whistles.
- While dal is getting cooked, prepare tempering with as asafoetida , onions and some carrom seeds and salt.
- Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and add the tempering.
- check for consistency of dal and add water if needed to make it soupy consistency
- Enjoy with lemon juice and some raw onions.
