Dear Fans,
At the expense of any 2020 cliches or catchphrases, we wanted to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us over the years, & particularly during this challenging year. Weโre so proud of the strides we have made with our brand, the quality of our products, & the evolution of our community which has come about so organically. Our recent releases like Pomona, Over Our Heads, & Diglossia highlight the very best of what we have accomplished. The Slow Beer Society Spring release this year was arguably our highest quality, & I can say with confidence that the Winter release for members has far surpassed that.
It would be selfish to say that weโre not against the ropes, & Iโm sorry to say that at the end of the year we will be closing our cozy cellar on Anderson Street. This is not the end of Dry River beers, however, as you can still buy your favorites at specialty bottle shops, & we do have more releases coming down the line. Weโre also working on figuring out how we can continue to sell beer directly to customers - even if that means a different pickup address. There is no shortage of enthusiasm, no lack of fresh ideas, & no lack of support from our fans, followers, employees, & volunteers. Weโre doing everything we can to keep this unique product moving forward in whatever form it can survive.
The closure of our tasting room space also means that if you have a membership allocation or any other online orders to pick up, please do so no later than December 31. Weโll be expanding our pickup hours to include some additional days of the week, so do stay tuned as we finalize those details.
This is not a farewell, & this is not a desperate plea - simply a way to honestly thank all that have supported us & continue to do so. Iโm confident that we will continue to create & innovate to bring Los Angeles unique & inspired farmhouse beers.
We hope to have more to announce in the near future, including shipping information & details on where to find our beer. In the meantime, take care & stay safe, we hope to see you soon at the cellar for pickups.
Sincerely,
Garrett Margolis & Cesar Flores
