“How do you drink amaro?”

We get asked this all the time, and while a straight sipper after dinner is the most official way, and on ice with some tonic water and some citrus is our most common preparation, there are so many cocktails where amaro is a perfect modifier or even replacement as the base spirit to balance the flavors.

The Way Out is a great equal parts cocktail of .75oz each of Festif Amaro, Mezcal, Aperol and lime juice.

Keeping it simple with a fresh new 50/50, the FAST EDDIE, with equal parts Festif Choux and Amaro Meletti.

We’ve been 50/50ing dozens of spirits these days to see what miracles can occur, and this is one of our favorite combinations so far. An addictive balance of bright citrus, baking spice and Canadian forest floor. Perfect for fall/winter sipping/shooting.

Thanks & for the surprise Mother’s Day shoutout for Festif Choux! As the first ever amaro in the history of the universe that uses Brussels sprouts, it’s essentially the Mother Earth spawn of all future “cavoletti amaro”, and benevolent wild child is aboard the Choux Choux Train to Canadian Fernet Wonderland spreading the good cheer!

We’re proud to call Los Angeles the home base for Festif and our Canadian-style amaro.
So when reached out to chat with us about the enduring spirit of Los Angeles and Angelenos in general for the ACSA’s Craft Spirits Magazine, we couldn’t pass up the chance to heap praise on the people and city around us. From wildfires to writers strikes to hospitality industry travails, there’s been an inevitable sense of fatigue, but there’s been an everlasting and strengthening sentiment of ‘joy in community’ that we hope to help facilitate.

🏆We’re extremely honored that our amari has earned some new hardware for the mantel at the 2025 American Craft Spirits Association awards! Festif Amaro took home silver and Festif Choux took home bronze!

There’s also a special feature on Festif & founder David Bly in their latest editorial issue of coming this week.

The is a major champion of craft spirit brands. They do a wonderful job ideating government legislation aimed at making life a little easier for us young brands.
